Can you just list my home in MLS and let me handle the rest?
We get this question often. While we offered a limited service when we first started, this is no longer something we offer. We discovered that buyers’ agents do not like having to track down and work directly with a seller who is not trained to handle contracts and sort out details in often complex transactions. It is for this reason sellers doing a For Sale By Owner often do not have success in selling. If this is the service you are seeking, you will not have trouble finding it. All of our listings are “Full Service”. We handle everything for you for a fair, flat fee paid only when your home sells.
Will other agents show your listings?
Absolutely! As a seller, you will pay us a flat fee for representing you. This will certainly save you thousands of dollars. You will still need to offer a commission to a buyer’s agent if they bring you their buyer.
Do you work with buyers?
Of course! Many of our sellers will hire us to help them find their new home. We greatly appreciate this and it is part of what helps us to be able to offer our comprehensive listing service at a reduced flat fee. If you are selling your home and buying a new home, we offer you an additional discount on the listing commission. As a buyer, you do not pay us anything for letting us find your next home. We would love to help!
My friend told me I need to hire a big firm to get my house sold?
I love it when I hear this one! There are many great companies and hundreds of great agents serving this market. Each agent within any firm has a different level of experience and a different approach to marketing and customer service. You may contact ABC Realty and be blessed to have a great experience with their top agent. You may also call this same firm and get terrible service from an inexperienced agent new to the industry. We all use the same MLS platform as the main tool to market your home. Flat Fee Realty also provides numerous other tools to help you sell quickly. Our results speak for themselves. It comes down to finding an agent you trust and who has the experience to do the job for you. That may or may not end up being us. We do, however, feel very confident saying we believe we provide the absolute best blend of experience and attractive fees. This defines value!
